complete tune up...

well i decided that before i do any mods i should do some maintance on the whole car. so far i have come up with this list of things that i would like to do. if anyone sees anything that i am forgetting please let me know. btw first time bmw and e30 owner. i did do the searching so i do know what types of oil, diff lube etc...

1. plugs, wires, rotor, and maybe the coil
2. get injectors cleaned, and from what i have read seafoam in not the way.
3. valve adjustment
4. change oil with filter of course
5. change diff lube
6. change power streeing fluid
7. change brake pads, and bleed brakes (that should take care of the clutch)
8. flush radiator
9. air filter change
10. flue filter change



if anyone sees any more maintaince type thing that i can do myself (beside the injectors) please add to the list. i hope to learn more about my car by doing these things so if i forgot a fluid or a filter or any thing else that fits on this list please add. thanks in advance for the input.

one of the first things I did when I bought my 325is was have a major tune up, and replace my timing belt, and water pump. I knew the history on my car, but I just felt a whole lot better having a new timing belt put in to it.
I also did a complete brake rebuild, but only because I could tell one of my rotors had some warpage on it.

Thermostat and investigating the belts and hoses is worth the trouble.
especially the gas lines, and making sure everything is strapped down correctly. Double checking the fuses , nothing like finding the previous owner put 15/30 amp fuses in a 7.5amp location.

Replacing rubber parts goes a long way. Anything 15+ years would wear away like Bushings, various linkage, control arms + bushings, rear diff mount and such under car suspension.
