Dumb question....

I'm trying to prep the kidney's to paint...and I can't separate the kidney from the grill!

Yes I know, ridiculous but I'm afraid I'm going to snap the tabs or break them in half.

Is there a trick to getting the kidneys off the grill??

there are two types of kidneys. some have a pop rivet holding the kidneys on the kidney grill and others (pretty sure the late ones) just slide off. The pop rivets are on the top if you have em.
