Trying to get front bumper off..

Ok, I didn't have time to search, and I know there might be somethin around.

Anyway, I've been trying to get the 88 spoiler/bumper (thing with fog lights and brake ducts) off - and, it almost seems like you need to remove the fenders to get this thing out?

All bolts have been removed, but it's being held in by the lip on each fender.

Do any of you have any suggestions for gettin this off? I really don't want to have to take the fenders off and I'm almost positive you wouldn't have to just to get this thing off there...

If you don't understand what I'm talking about - it's the body color piece of straight metal right below the front grills and lights - it is sorta being held in there on either side.

I can try to get a pic later, but any suggestions?

    Thanks! :D

The valence? You shouldn't have to remove the fenders. I've never removed the actual valence, but everything else up there. Did you unbolt and peel back the front of the wheel well liner? Perhaps there are some bolts inside there that you haven't seen yet.

the valance sits behind the fenders where the 2 meet, but all you have to do is slide it out from under there, maybe a little force but removal of fenders isn't required
