I took mine out when I did the swap. The only hose you hook up is the hose coming from the tank, and you hook it to the purge valve so you don't have a check engine light. Then plug all the holes that you have left.///Alpinweiß II 24v 91' 318is, Alpinweiß III 99' 323i, 04' Yamaha R6 SE for sale, 00' VW GTi, 83' El Camino BURNED, 01' P71sold, 92' Miatasold

ok so i hook the purge up to the TB or to the gas tank
The thing is i threw away the little preformed hose that goes on the valve cause it was cracked, and it uses a different size hose than regular fuel line so i think i have a vac leak there, i used rtv and a hose clamp to hold it on there but i dont think that did the jobYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Any chance any of you guys could get a pic of how it's supposed to look before deleting it? I stupidly disconnected all mine when respraying the bay for the motor swap, and now I can't for the life of me remember how it was originally.
I tried looking at all the slides on realoem, but it just didn't make sense to me.
It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

i don't know if the m3 is different but theres a line coming up with the fuel lines to the canister, then another line from the canister to the valve then a molded line from the valve to the bottom of the throttle body
at least thats what the m20 has
you can use regular 8mm fuel line for all the connections except the molded line b/c it goes from ~7mm to 8mm line, at least i think its that one, it may be the one on the other side of the valveYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Question. Can I hook the vent line to the port on the intake instead of the purge valve?
Right now I capped the port on the intake that the purge valve was hooked to with a vac plug. Then added a rice-a-roney breather to the hose going back to the tank....But If I can connect that line directly to the intake with no purge valve I can lose that stupid ass breather.sigpic
