Can i use the wiring harness from the 88 325e into a I? So its already motronic 1.1, but i know putting in the 173 ECU for motronic 1.3 works as well when swapping parts etc...but my question is, that will the 325e ECU have EVERYTHING in that little bundle that the I needs as well. A buddy of mine needs to change the harness out of his 88 I, and i have a 88 325e and it looks more or less the same, and its a parts car so using the harness is a possibility if it works fine Hope that made sense. Your input is greatly appreciated.

People swap "I" engines into "E" cars, so I don't see why not. Just slap an "I" ECU in it.
