fuel injector replacement

So I put in some of the ford 19# injectors and now it won't start. During the install a electrical conector completely fell apart and will not conect, it is coming from the top of the oil pan. Anyone know what this sensor is sensing? I would think the car would still start or won't it? Or am I missing something else?
