Here is the problem. 1986 325es had no spark bad fuel pump, fixed the spark problem. First fuel pump that was used came from a Working 86 325e and was not sending up fuel so an 87 325i pump was used got fuel. Now the fuel gage is not working. It was working before the pump was changed, so I removed the fuel gage and replaced it with a working used 86 325e gage. oh one other thing I also jumped the fues link. No luck I have also replaced the floater twice no luck. everything else on the cluster works. Can someone please help me I don’t know what the hell happen?

There is some right ups on www.bimmerdiy.com/e30 that tells you how to change the batteries out in it. More than likely that is what is wrongComment

Before you do all that, check the grounding nut behind the guage.Comment
