    Inspection lights stay on in cluster

    87 cabrio - cluster from unknown
    The red and yellow lights in the cluster stay on 24/7... what causes this? I have seen it happen before...

      My 87 did this when i first got it. But i put a different cluster in it and now they turn off when the car is shut off.

          Bad SI board batteries or a bad SI board. A search will turn up plenty of information about replacing the batteries.
          The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
