    Any manual convertables?

I was at a junk yard down the street from my house today for something I had to do for my other car and got into some small talk with the guys and they have TONS of E30 stuff and recently fixed up a Black E30 325 vert.

While I was there I just made a mental note about probally buying it, but I just now realized that if it is a manual, I am going to go buy it tommorow. So before I go waste my time after work.. were manuals avaliable (on the verts) and what are my chances?

    Thanks
    Brandon

umm..yes manuals were available on convertibles. I don't have any numbers that would specifically tell you what your chances are but if he says its a manual than I would just go with his word

Yeah I have burned some rubber on e30 cabbies back when they were a new car so they do exist. Honestly the dealer I worked at sold more manual trans cabbies than auto's

I have one, and it came that way from the factory.

I think e30ic dot com might have some numbers. can't remember though.

Pull the rear seat bottom and look at the build sheet if you're not sure your prospect is genuine.

            manual trans I'm thinking

well when I was shopping for mine ... alot of people I ask if its manual and they would say yes... I then say stick shift? they say yes. When I get there it is an auto. Then I say FU and walk away... did it couple times, dont ever take people's word for it, some people are straight up shameless asses. Ask for the last 7 vin and look it up on realoem, or dealer. They dont provide you with the vin dont even bother.
