    blower motor help

    im having issues with my blower motor it only works on the 4th setting and none of the others just would like to know do i need a new blower motor or is it something else

    Sounds like a blower motor resistor to me. I've never done one on an e30, but it should be an easy fix.

      Don't forget to blow the carbon dust out. it causes a large current draw when it builds up... thermal meltdown

            There are several threads on r3v about this. It is the resistor, pull it and clean with WD40 or something. If that fails go buy a new one, they're cheap.
