My car has a slight misfire and I noticed that the Brake Lining light goes off in almost exact synchronization with the miss. And the worse the car runs the brighter it gets. Such as today, every time I gave it gas the car would fall on its face, and the light stayed on and was as bright as can be. Also my pads and rotors are fine. So is there a possible link in the circuit with the fuel that can help me diagnose my misfire? I've already changed my plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter. Anyone have any suggestions?

Under ordinary circumstances the only link between the brake wear warning light and the engine management system is the battery/alternator. In this case I'd suspect a bad ground or primary connection, or even a frayed harness. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
