    Question about oil pressure sender..

I've got a 2002 with an m10 and it has an aftermarket (from the 70's) oil pressure gauge in the car. There is a screw that has a hard line attached that sends oil to the gauge in the car. The screw is attached at the rear of the head and it is leaking a good amount of oil from the screw. My question is.. can I put teflon tape (like for compressed air fittings) on the threads or is there something similar I could use to keep the oil from seeping out?? Thanks

I think the normal seal for that connection would be via a crush washer. Teflon tape is only going to help for a tapered pipe thread. A new crush washer would be the best fix.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Other fix would be a loctite tite sealant. Research their site for the correct type. I have used their stuff before on oil pan drain plug with good results.

Loctite 518 is a good choice. Make sure you don't get the thread locker Loctite!
