Squeaky rear Trailing arm.... KMAC bushing

I need some help or some suggestion on how to get rid of this, only the rear-driver's side does it, along with a wierd noise when breaking but i'm almost positive its an e-brake broken spring or something.

In any occasion, my car's on KMAC bushings and the noise is very anoying as the Trailing arm moves Up and Down. Feels like it builds tension and doesnt sound like it travels smoothly. Would i need to spray / add some kind of lubricant? if so what? I'd rather not take the control arms off to do this so a spray/add on fix-in-a-can kind of thing would be optimal.

I would like to hear all kind of suggestions since i have an HPDE this weekend 8-) Thanks all!!

Well, the one thing that I have found that works wonders is boat trailer axle grease. It works best when you are installing the bushing. Otherwise, you may want to try using a grease gun and getting it in there liberally.

i think i have some white lithium grease around...but i hate how that stuff dries out after. since i dont have much time i'll do this or the silicone spray and give a try to the trailer lube...i used marine bearing grease in my ae86 and worked wonders. thanks for the tips!

I use marine grease a lot, even though its more or less waterproof. I dont think that it likes friction. Or maybe that just because I have always applied it liberally and it doesnt take much.

i would agree with you on the friction factor, but its a tough grease and handles water, oil and dirt very well...i sprayed some lithium grease and wasnt very happy so dripped some 3in1 oil and did the trick. after saturday's event i'll do things more carefully...

btw turns out that "noise" in the rear was a cracked rotor...in 4 different places, i had to take a pic lol. Anyways, i should have new stuff tomorow and i_gottanother question, since i'll have only a few hours to break in the brakes, will i have any problems if i beat too much on the on the first day??

As far as know once you go through the break in process thats it, however the superstious(sp?) racers will go on and on about rotor seasoning and whatnot.

well, i'll let you know first hand how if it really matters...i just glazed them in...as far as noise goes, lithium spray grease followed hours later by 3in1 oil ftw...might not have to take anything down.

thanks for all your help guys. i'll take some pics and maybe some video if they let me use the guetto camera mount i made...'cuase its a pickup bed hold bar (extends sideways and builds lots of tension) with an attach to my camera.... its not going anywhere but idk how they'll get. i dont care, its 3.76mi 17turn man-only track! too bad i'll have the shittiest car there lol o well i talk to much. nigga out!

Synthetic brake grease is the best stuff that I've found for urethane bushings. You will have to drop the arm to lube the bushings and the brake grease should lube should last at least six months before needing to be re-freshed.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks for the tip, i'll keep it in mind for next time i have to do something, but removing trailing arms every six months is not something anyone would like to do...its a painfull job on our cars. the 3in1 oil hast performed fantastic. 3days, not a squeak..

btw the brakes performed fantastic...Sebring was FUCKING AWESOME!!! worth every cent and tons of seat time!!! i'm more happy with the e30 performed, not a sound or problem, incredible! the only issue was the brakes gave away near the end of the 4th 35min session and lasted just as long on the 5th and last...i ate through the NEW rear set of brakes completely!! $20 pads was all i could find in time. wearever pads blow jaja haven't checked fronts yet but should be as equally gone.
