Broke Injector off into engine, help plz.

I was installing some 19lb injectors yesterday after getting them in I started the car it stumbled for alittle bit then a loud clicking began coming from the motor. After taking the injectors out this morning the number 6 injector didn't have a plastic cap on it anymore so it went off into the motor.

Is there any way I can get this piece out without taking off the head? Maybe taking out a spark plug and crankin or maybe it'll fall apart and blow out the exhaust valve? Also could something like this break a rocker arm?

well... its fairly small... and plastic...

go for a drive and heat that shit up, it will vaporize.

I dont see it doing any damage (given that it is soft plastic) unless it lodges itself on a valve seat and prevents the valve from closing. In which case your piston will smash that valve.

On second thought... dont drive it. Pull the head and remove the part.

Why on earth did you put new injectors in without making sure the caps were fully secure?

        Bah

I tried to put the injectors in without removing the intake manifold, and it most likely broke when I noticed that one injector hadn't sealed to the fuel rail so I of course just stuck it on there by force without thinking. Damn this need for speed! I'm done with this motor until I get the turbo I'll just got buy a 4.10 or something.

dont worry about it, when i removed my old stockers a peice of the plastic cap dropped off and i was paranoid about it too.. i just went off for a little hellacious drive and nothing happened, so i assume its fien.
