    Help with e-brake wire

Ok heres the problem, the e-brake light on the gauge cluster is now always turned on either with or without the e-brake. Sometimes it dims a little bit when i disengage the e-brake. I checked the wire that runs under the carpet to the e-brake for voltage, and apparently theres none. Is there some sort of troubleshooting guide to get around this other than removing the bulb from the gauge cluster? I really need this working properly.

I can post pics tommorow if it'll help.

    Thanks in advance.

Make sure you try it with the car running...when you do it with they key such that all the warning lights are on the light will never go off whether you get it right or not... Its not that hard to fix..usually its just a loose contact point
