Eta O2 Sensor

ran a search but couldn't find what kinda o2 sensors were compatable. i know it's a 3-wire, but i'm just tryin to figure out what other kinda cars have the same o2 sensor, since AutoZone didn't have any in stock, even a generic one, for an '87 Eta :?

i need this o2 sensor ASAP.... like yesterday :?

Mustang ones will work with the conector cut and the m20 conector soldered on.

aight, i got the mustang o2 sensor... thing was like 40 bucks :up:

now how do i wire it... both my eta o2 sensor & the mustang sensor have one blac & TWO white wires arranged in a triangle (duh).... does it matter which white i splice to which white? i BELIEVE the white wire is a loop that goes from the car, to the sensor & back to it, but does it matter in which direction the circut is looped?

Just arrange the triangles with the black wire facing up and the two white wires on the bottom left corners wire together and the two white wires on the other corner wire together. One wire is for power to the o2 sensor and the other white one is the power for the heater and black is signal.

i know it said "easy splice" but i wasn't sure if it mattered which white wire i spliced w/ which white wire :?

You'll find out quick enough if you realy worried about measure the voltage and the engine harness side of the conector to determine if there is any voltage difference if not then who cares.
