    What rims are these?

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what these rims came from and what kind of offset I need for my 88 e30

Very rare rims! Some of the first ones made, note that they are not round and the spokes look like a red X. :p

I'm waiting on Dave to chime in and confirm if I'm right or wrong. I believe he has the same wheels, different size.

I'd throw at least a 10mm on there, you should be able to fit a 20mm max, I have a 25mm offset with a 10mm spacer and it sits pretty nice...

So if I went with a 10mm or 15mm that will work? Know where I can find them for a decent price...also I would need lugs.

Either one will work fine. I have a pair of IEs and a pair of H&Rs. The H&Rs are great because they fit the hub nice and snug, while the IEs center bore is huge and they are a huge bitch every time that I mount the wheel. I think I paid $50 for the IEs that are 9.5mm (3/8") and I got my H&Rs used so I'm not sure what they run. If they are $30 more per pair, they're worth it, and thats what I think they are... You will need new lugs to make sure that all the threads in the hub get contact.
