am i hearing things?

so i just went on a road trip where i was driving for 7+ hours at a time.
several times throughout the trip, i heard a sound:

3 quick chimes (ding ding ding)

now these chimes are different than the 'door is ajar' chime. has anyone else heard this before? any ideas about what it could be?

turns out that it's the memo button, which now that i checked, is on. apparently it chimes before the hour...who knew?
