ECU chip question ??

I bought an #173 ecu the other day and was going to chip it but once I received it I could tell that it had been opened up once before... so whats the chances that it has a chip already ?? Well as it turns out it does have a chip in it....but

Question is, is a Autowerks racing LTD. chip worth a damn ??? If it is I will leave it but if not I was going to do one anyways. Chime in and let me know as I do not find a whole lot about them on the net nor on this site... The most relevant search takes me to a site with Turner chips which are ( I thought ) Jimmy C chips..... anywho any information would be helpful guys thanks

Why don't you read my post a little closer !! ?? I have already if you will read and then I ask if that chip that is installed in it is worth a damn ??? That is what I am asking not if it has been chipped BECAUSE IT HAS !!!! .... NEXT......

Thats probably the case as I can not find anything about them on the net anywhere... Unless some can chime in and tell me its a keeper than I will replace it

And you need to read my OP closer as well. As I said " Chime in and let me know as I do not find a whole lot about them on the net nor on this site " I never did say I could find " NOTHING " but said do not find a whole lot about them.... There is a difference but thanks for looking.....

So let me rephrase this, if anyone has any helpful information please let me know since there is not a ton of information on the net about them. Their website has NOTHING on them at all and so on......
