    over heating

    my car has been over heating for example after being in one spot for more than 30min or while driving very slow (10 to 20MPH), i have check the radiator fluid and its on level, water pump its new i change it while changing the timing belt, could it be my fan clutch ?

        swap the t stat out for a 71 degree. run some water wetter and rebleed the cooling system

          Bets way to test fan clutch - stick a newspaper in it. If it's working, it will likely make a mess.

          If it's not, the fan will stop.

          Or get one of your friends drunk and use his arm to test. KIDDING


          But seriously...the newspaper trick works. AND, you'd hear it when you're driving if it's working. When mine went out, I couldn't hear it spinnin up anymore when I revved. But, now I don't have one - horray for electric fan! No more gay noises when I rev! lol
