    Trunk Problem

So here's the deal. The car's been sitting in the garage for a few months and the battery died. Then the keyless entry doesn't work. The key for the doors is not the same key for the trunk, thus I can't open the trunk. I read some threads about coat hanger through the license plate hole. Can someone explain the coat hanger idea to me or what else there is? Thanks

Frank, there is a jump spot under the hood where the front battery location is.

Look where the stock battery is for the "+" side of things, then use the shock tower ground point.

Can you please describe where it is to this picture. Sorry, I don't know much about mechanics.

Look in the bottom right hand corner of the picture, where the battery was in some models, there should be a terminal on the firewall. It is like a square with 5 or 6 wires connected to it. In the late models there was a rubber neck that went into the cabin. That is where it should be. Though you might have to peak under the wire cover if you have one

This is almost like "Show us on the doll where the bad man touched you!"

Ok.. seriously- if you look at the arrow pointing to the boot, either that's it or there is a rubber boot similar to that in the battery tray. In case you are aware, the battery tray under the hood is that grey patch in the lower right corner as 91 tradgedy indicated.
