Sunroof troubleshooting

My sun roof tilts up, but doesn't slide forward. When I lowered it, it only lowers on one side.

Does anyone have an idea what it could be? Or does anyone have how to for fixing or removing the sunroof?

check sunroof motor

Check the sunroof motor mounting screws. I had a similar problem and it turned out that one of the screws had fallen out so there wasn't equal pressure on the cables. Best bet is to close your sunroof and make sure everything is straight, then drop the motor and cycle it to make sure its in the closed position and reinstall it making sure all three screws are tight.
If that doesn't remedy it then you may need new cables.
