    seat qustion (4-door)

are the seat backs supposed tp spring up when you pull the tilt lever... mine you have to use your hand and lift it back up to get it back to non-reclined positions...

if it is supposed to spring is there an easy fix to make it springy again?

They are supposed to snap forward. The gas charged shocks inside the seat is worn out. Replace them.

They look exactly like the hood shock, but shorter.

I'm not sure of the part numbers, but last I checked they were about $45 each. Each seat requires 2 (one for the seat back position, and one for the height adjustment of the seat bottom).

my seats are a fairly new replacement, and those same shocks have gone, and the latching mechanism has gone, I now have to vigorously shake my seat back every time I want to adjust it. Just accept it and move on, set the seat how you like it, and leave it. My at least. good luck man

Ya, it doesnt bother me, or didn't I have a recaro now thats even harder to adjust (damn knobs) but it always is funny to see passengers try and adjust it and fall into the back.

            Sold it.
