Ok so I am having problems with my fuel system in my 86 325. I have a weak pump and would like to just install a single in tank pump. I will be adding a turbo in the future so would be good to be able to upgrade then as well. I know that the 88 up cars use a in tank only. My question is will the sinding unit from a 88+ work in my tank and or what pumps can I use?
