hood wont open?

so I was under the hood of my car yesterday and and I left for a second to answerer a phone call in the house. Well, my brother thought it would be a good idea to closed the hood of my car while there was a screw driver resting some where on the drivers side of the car. Now that side of the hood is lifted about a 1/4 inch and I cant pop the hood open anymore. any suggestions?

there is a hole somewhere in the front grill that you can put a screwdriver in and pop the hood. Luke showed me once, can't remember where it was though.

It's on the right side (when facing the front of the car)
Just inside the lights, you will see a block/box that has an opening to insert a large straight slot screwdriver.

Insert the screwdriver, twist to the right.
This will only undo the hood release.

If the hood won't open after this, it is jammed on the screwdriver that was left inside the engine bay.

Short of trying to remove pressure from the screwdriver by "closing" the hood... and negotiating the screw driver out, I think you may be SOL.

Only other option that MAY work is removing bolts from the bottom of the hood and hoping to remove the whole hood.
