    lots of maintenance stuff coming!

alright so here's what i want to do in the coming month or two:

rotors/pads/ss lines/ebrake assembly (feels weak, will have it inspected)
-for these i was going to go with the turnermotorsport ss lines, ate powerslot front rotors, oem rear rotors, ebg greenstuff pads, and oem ebrake aseembly rebuild if needed.

    trailing arm bushings/subframe bushings/motor mounts/front camber kit
-i have a bit of suspension items from IE and it seems quality so i found their subframe bushings and trailing arm bushings.. they also have a camber kit. as far as motor mounts should i go urethane or something better?

    spark plugs/cap/rotor/timing belt/thermostat/o2 sensors
-i figure my mechanic would be able to get these cheaper than online, standard stuff.. am i missing anything? (maybe trans fluid?)

this is for my daily, which i want to autox later on. so far i have springs/struts/front sway/CAB/RSM.

haha, i forgot to mention.. am i going too far with this, or am i missing anything that i should do as far as suspension/brakes/tune-up?

If the motor mounts need replacing the odds are that the transmission and differential mount also need replacing. If you track the car urethane bushings are a good idea.

Also take a critical look at the control arms and bushings while doing the front suspension. If the bushings are iffy, Delrin offset CABs (Bimmerworld) are good.

Save a few bucks for something else and use plain OE rotors up front. They are as good as it gets for a stock brake system on an E30.

The IE camber plates are fine, but GC makes one that is slightly better. Both are race plates with metal on metal bearings and thus tend to be a bit noisy when turning at low speed.

oh i've already got my control arms replaced (got lemforders) and tie rods. ill check out the gc camber plates. honestly i wanted the ate powerslots for the looks + they are slotted vs blank, but i guess blanks up front are more than enough anyway.

If you are doing the PowerSlots for looks, then fine. But you won't gain braking performance from them over OE rotors and they cost more. A good set of pads and cooling ducts is worth more in terms of performance.

I say www.vorshlag.com for camber plates, much easier to adjust than GC's, much higher quality bearings, and they have a lower stack height, so you can have a lower car with the same suspension travel.

You'd be better off buying Brembo OE replacement rotors and putting a sweet Brembo sticker on your car for looks. haha.
