what is the problem sir? damn power steering

hey guys finally got the girl back on the road and finished painting the kidneys black. and now its got an issue when i turn at around half lock and full lock it squeeks almost as if the powersteering is rubbing against a belt or sumthing and its really hard to turn occaisonaly like there isnt any powersteering. any ideas? just bought some axxis ultimate pads and would like to know if i have to replace power steering thanks

sounds like your steering rack is going out or low on fluid or both

The power steering belt may need adjusted as well.

thanks for your help guys i think its either going out or the belt needs adjusting but most probably going out cause its extremely stiff at low speeds and its full of fluid. Any ideas for changing racks to a smaller ratio?

Check the belt by seeing how much you can move it up and down. What is the level of your fluid? Also, grab the rubber boots on each end of the rack and squeeze. If you feel fluid in there, you need a new rack.
