    several problems

i bought my 325e about a year ago. i bought it as a dd shitbox and didnt know about the immense aftermarket for these cars. now my car has a few issues
    1. i have a gas smell when i first start it in the morning. i usually let it warm up for like 5-10mins tops. after i get in it and get her going the smell goes away. there are no gas leaks on any of the lines so i havent the slightest idea what this could possibly be.
    2. i have a sudden loss of power for no appernt reason that will last for appox. 2-3mins. usually happens while just getting on the highway. ill put it in 5th and after a few moments it feels like im only gettin 1/2 power. then this problem goes away. could i be misfiring for only a brief moment and then coming back
    3. i just had my brakes re-done with new pads and oem rotors. some asshole in traffic slammed on his brakes forcing me to slam and skid on mine. ever since then it has sounded like i have a flat spot in my tire (slow vibrations a low speeds coming from the rear gradually turning into a hum at higher speeds) could i infact have a flat spot in my tires and how do i fix it.

the car is an 85 325e with no abs and only a catback exhaust(ansa) so its not like ive been heavily modding this thing. (actually i want to get rid of it and get an "i" or "is") and it is a piece (red hood with black body. front fenders, grill and hood dont line up). any help would be much apperiated

    thanks

    1. Your charcoal canister is bad it has been in a few of the Bav Auto newsletters and it solved my fuel smell problem.

    2. Check your connections on your fuel pump and coil

    3. Easiest way to get rid of flat spots on your rear tires is to do a burnout.
