How to remove lower column trim?

I'd rather risk a stupid question then break plastic that's not easy to replace. And yes I searched, several forums in fact.

91 airbag car, remove one screw on bottom of column (that's all I see), plastic still won't budge. I'm attempting to get to the flasher relay, which Bentley says is underneath.

Two screws hidden by the steering wheel - you'll have to pull the airbag, then the wheel, then you can get to the two screws, which come from the top on either side of the splined column end.

Don't forget to disconnect the battery first, leave it disconnected for a few minutes, and for Heaven's sake, don't reconnect it until you have your airbag hooked up again. If you set the SRS light off, even the dealers can't turn it off again anymore.

Was afraid of that. Well, the airbag light's on already, so no worries there lol.

Thanks. Will get to it soon.

Naa man. If you pull it down you can reach your hand in there and replace that relay. Thats exactly how i did it. In the parking lot at night at auto zone.. You'll be fine.
