    Hood won't latch.

Like it says, the hood won't latch when you try and close it. I've never heard of this particular problem. How can I fix this?

just changed my cable out today. After I was done had to adjust the box that the cable went into. Moved it up and inch and it works fine now.

sometimes when you pull the hood release it doesn't spring back down, so you have to manual push it down then it'll catch. If it sticks up because of rust in the latch or whatever it'll always be open

Yeah I did spray it up with WD40. The cable is also broken, so the lever is irrelevant at the moment. But if the cables bound up it could be holding the latch off though.
