No seriously, where is the connector for outside air temp?

I was under my car this morning, desperating searching for the place to plug in my ambient air sensor finally. But to no avail.

I swear I've looked over the wiring, trying to find a connector for the sensor's wiring.

Just to be sure, it is on the passenger side? That is the side with a hole for the temp sensor in the brake cooling duct.

Its on the drivers side. The connector should be around the ABS pump area.

Dang. I had the feeling it was in the larger wiring at he driver side. Somehow I don't think the wire will stretch from the passenger side to the driver side. :?

I wasn't sure the cooling duct was on the correct side though......So, what now? My brake duct with the hole for the sensor is on the passenger side.

 Alright, time to improvise. When I make a heatshield for my cone, I'll make a hole for the temp sensor, and plug it in to have an intake box temp sensor. 8)

good solution, but you could just swap your brake ducts to the right places. takes all of 30 seconds

I thought of that, but I don't exactly have the proper brackets - my mechanic budy who had to swap the head because of my lack of tools and practice fab'ed some metal holders for it.I dunno if it would be possible but I'd look into it.

And wouldn't that put the sensor on the bottom of the duct? Might spell trouble with a lowered car.

I might just go with intake box sensor, though, something clever to do instead.....we'll see.

No tools are required to swap the brake ducts....

With mine it takes at least a wrench. And what I was saying with the current steup I dunno if i can swap, but I'll look further into it this afternoon.
