Trouble starting & not running great

Need help, My car cranks like its not getting fuel and won't start. I let it sit awhile and it starts right up. Fuel pump is about 4 years old. I can't get it to act up for my mechanic (typical). He cleaned the injectors, the idol control valve and replaced the engine crank sensor today.

I picked the car up, it started fine. Drove to restuarant with wife and kids, in there hour and a half, come out, car cranks long time before starting idols like crap, bogs and loses some power. Also the "antilock" brake idiot light stayed lit for a mile or so and things smoothed out.

Could I have a ground issue, relay, pump. What the fuck, I hate fishing expeditions.

I would look first at the injector harness directly below the throttle body. Very common corrosion issue on late model cars. Use CRC electrical connection cleaner and a toothpick, scrub both sides carefully.

Exact same symptoms as mine except the ABS light. Add the check valve in this post...

Cured my problem instantly..takes less than an hour to make the repair..
