If I was to import a M50 and 5 speed, I was wondering about problems. Would it be more difficult, as compared to a American M50, to drop into a E30?

Why are you getting it from Ireland, you can get the same parts here, and save yourself the rape in shipping costs.

I looked into importing an engine from england a few months ago. It was about $600 to ship it to the nearest port. I never found out with customs and gave up on it. I finally found a yard near by that was willing to sell and M50 and tranny reasonable.Eric
