Dash Wiring Problem?????

another quirk w/ the car. I bought a new clock, and it keeps resetting every time i turn the car off, same goes w/ the factory deck....it keeps wanting the code. is there a fuse or something, or did I piss something off when changing the clocks.....is it a ground wire or something?? I checked the clock in my buddies e30 and it works flawlessly...so i know its not that..
