    Fog light install into a 91 318is

    Hey Guys,

So a while ago I decided I wanted fog lights in my car (brave or stupid I don't know but I did it anyhow), and it was a sheer pain to get the damn clips to mount them in but finally they're in there and plugged in. Great. BUT they don't turn on. I got a brand new relay, brand new switch and I found the place to plug in the fog light (it was taped against some wiring underneath the steering wheel. But it still doesn't turn on. I checked the fuses that go into spots 29 and 30 on the fusebox (both 7.5A fuses which have never been used but were convieniently in my fusebox). Any ideas guys? From what my other bmw friends can tell me theres no power getting to the lights themselves even though there are bulbs in there and everything else that wasn't there before has been installed in order for the lights to work. So i'm at a bit of a loss. Can anyone give me a tip from experience cause from what I know it should just work since its an iS everything is pre-wired for the fog lights and it was just an option that wasn't selected. So..help?

if possible, try swapping in a headlight switch from a car that came with foglights... i suspect there are two versions of the headlight switch...

this has vexxed a lot of people.

headlight switch? Could you elaborate on that? Unfortunatly the only other person I know with fog lights...well lets just say his fuse is a 5 prong (since his car is a euro spec 320) while mine is a 4 prong/
