    Wheel help needed

Hey guys, I know this topic has been discussed before and I have looked over previous posts, but I have a 1990 325 Cabrio and it is on bilstein sports and H&R springs about a few months old and I have finally decided to replace my rashed basketweaves. I am looking at either a 15x7 and a 17x7 wheel, the 15's have an offset of 27 and the 17's 38mm offset, my major question is what is the optimal tire size for each of these wheels and will I experience and rubbing issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I will most likely get these in the next week or 2.

The safest route for the 15x7's would be 205/55-15's.
You could also run 225/50-15's, as I do, but with a 27mm offset they would be very close to the strut up front, and you may rub with your softer H&R springs.

As for the 17's, the closest to stock overall diameter is 215/40-17, but you would probably need to run spacers with that offset. I would say 10-15mm.
