    Air Conditioning Problems

Hey guys, I have a small problem here but it's annoying the fuck outta me.

I turned on my AC today and then I heard this squeaking sound from the air vents. I think that the fans from the AC need oil or something like that, how do I access these fans so I can put some WD40 on it or something?

access to the fan motor is through the firewall in the engine bay. just remove the cover and the motor is right there.

Just take off that cover in the middle of the firewall. I must warn you that WD40 is the devil and is not a lubricant. If its squeaking bad then either the motor has gotten canted and the plastic fins are rubbing or the motor itself is worn. The armature could be lubed but it could be a short term fix. I had this and ended up having to get a new one.
      Im now E30less.
