    m20 cam.....

I am collecting parts for my 2.8i stroker motor that will be going in the 85 and I am wondering if anyone can reccomend what cam to buy and where I should buy it. I am not going to run the stock cam, no way.

    Thanks guys.

www.racetep.com will cut a Schrick cam to any profile you want. Best prices, too.

Word, dual pattern is ok, but 288 is probably a bit better.

Keep in mind anything above 272'ish is going to give you a very lumpy idle.... some folks don't mind, others do. I've never heard a bad word about Schrick cams so that's always a good choice ;)

A pal of mine with a 3.0L Weismann stroker kit has a Schrick 288 among many, many other mods and recently reached 208rwhp on a Dastek dyno. Alot of folks from BEN might remember him, Calvin Tan in Malaysia. Very impressive E30 to say the least ;) but his idle is incredibly lumpy.

I have no problem with lumpy idle whatsoever. You stroker guys think the 288 is my best bet?

Know the cheapest source for this?

He's good m8....ck out his site for recent pics and list of mods. 208rwhp is impressive for a N/A M20.........oh yeah, he also recently bought an E30 M3 Evo II.
