Car stumbles under accel over 50 mph

This problem just started today. Cruising it drives fine. hit the gas and it stumbles. Only at higher speeds. AFM? Fuel pump? fuel filter? Any ideas???

    TIA

It could be the AFM or the fuel system. A pressure & delivery test will tell if the fuel system is the cause.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Never done one of those before - how's it done?

I don't have a Bentley with me and the procedure is too long to remember. It is both a static pressure test and a test of delivery rate.

            How peculiar....a speed dependent incident...

Are you sure it's not a specific RPM in any gear?
