    Clunk during shifting

It is... well sounds like it is in the trunk :) The only thing I can see is it "appears" the rear diff bushings is totally shot.

When I drive and then press clutch and shit something "jumps" in the back and makes the noise. Have I narrowed it down?

csb, cv joints, flex disc, diff. That's all that comes to mind right now.

      New CSB and Guibo

Rear axles are dead and are going to be replaced.

      Thanks for the info!

It is probally the diff bushing, even after replacing the subframe and trailing arm bushings, and with having an m-coupe diff bushing I still had a clunk. Put a delrin diff bushing in and now it's gone.

Check your DS u-joints before you replace your rear axles. Vibrations and the clunk are very similar to my symptoms. The u-joints are not rebuildable. You'll need another DS. Try rotating the pieces of the DS under the car, and if they make the sound, you've got it.

this is my daily driver and "beat on it for fun car" i don't have the cash allocation to just "replace everything"...

If i did I would be stealing track time from my e36 m3!!!

                          Ely

That is what I was going to order.

I JUST did redline fluids so hopefully I can drill and cutout the stock bushings and just slide int he AKG without cracking open the case.
