    Odd stereo/electrical question

This isn't the sort of thing I could search for, sorry.

I installed a new head unit in my car and I want to test it to make sure I've wired everything correctly. The problem is that the engine, engine harness and basically everything forward of the firewall is not in the car. My thinking is that since all I'm doing would be turning the key to the accessory position there shouldn't be a problem. However, my lack of confidence concerning all things electrical has me second-guessing myself.

Do you think it would be safe or should I wait until the car is more "together"

    TIA,

    kr

You split the engine harness from the car at C100? If so, you'll be fine.

Shouldn't have a problem if wired correctly.
