    R/C Methanol/Nitromethane Alcohol Fuel Mixed??

I have tons of gallons of a R/C (Radio Control) Fuel in my yard, I was wondering if I can mix with the gas on my Jeep and my BMW Turbo to get more power...

The fuel contains methanol and nitromethane with (Castor OIl, kind of minerla oil or something like that, like if it were natural) and bit of sintethic oil. has 30% of Nitro per gallon.

I use it in my Buggys gas powered 2 cycled tiny engine wich revs up to 40,000RPms...:brows:

Was wondering if this can help the engine run cooler and let me encrease the boost in my BMW with out pinging. Currently I'm getting bad fuel( all the station are selling bad fuel) and my BMW started to pinging, si Itought about mixing this fuel with the gas and see what happens, probably it can help to stop the knock.

Any opinions or comments? This will be safe to do?:puzzled:

Uh, I'm going to have to say that throwing methanol into a boosted engine is a bad idea.

maybe and maybe not, since friend told me that he was using pure methanol on his SUbaru WRX high tuned engine, with the methanol in the gas mixed it will cooler the gas and will let you increase the boost a bit or play with the advance with out knock.

I'd think the only problem would be the Oil content. Of course you can get a higher ratio Nitro fuel. I tried to get my friend to toss a cup or two into his gas tanks of some 30% nitro I've got but he declined :P

lol, we need a donor car or donor engine to test it...I'm on the search for that now... :P

Most of the time a motor is either built to run gasoline or alcohol in my experiences with domestics. I do know that Dado runs his car on both pump gas and alcohol, but he only used alcohol on the track running high boost. Maybe you should go over to DTM and shoot him a PM.

The castor oil will clog your injectors and the methanol content will quickly deteriorate all of the fuel systems o-rings, so....not a good idea. Best bang would be to try propylene oxide... I tried a couple teaspoons in the fuel of a highly tuned kart racing engine and blew the cylinder head clean off, went like hell for the moment prior.

ya it will smoke. i drive r/c cars and one thing i did once was put r/c gas mixed with 2-cycle gas in my leaf blower. it ran much quiter and vibrated much less and blew alot more powerfull.....i know i know pointless reply but i just thought id let you know just in case you want to use that r/c gas on something.
