    Typical no-working-pictures, off-topic-flamefest abortion of a thread.

Thanks... even though the pictures are not up, that's reassuring. Now hopefully the Kirk bar works the same way.

i sent like three emails and left a vmail for a kirk cage and i never got a response. That was like 6 months ago. Needless to say i won't be getting a kirk cage.

For the record I recently picked up an Autopower 6 point bolt in cage. Everybody says their products fit like shit, those people are wrong. This thing is nice and snug! I am going to be welding it together and welding it in. I also want to add a bar between the rear shock towers and X that in to the cage.

Sorry, I know that had nothing to do with 4 door cars. :)

erik what are you going to do about the front down bars. Next year nopi and fd are going to require that they only have 2 bends that they are are behind the dash. I could be incorrect but thats what i heard.

Can you post some pics, please? Maybe in another thread.

No, not really, unless the bolt-in is markedly different than my Kirk weld-in cage.
Not the best photos, but you can see some of that portion here: http://www.mongrelmotorsports.homest...m/specE30.html
Kirk is a small operation. Emails never got answered, but he did pick up the phone all the times I called.

That's not quite the middle of the door, but it's definitely way behind the B-pillar. I would guess a bolt in cage would be about the same.

My roll bar will have the main hoop mounted even farther back than that, for seat clearance for taller drivers. It's still just behind the 2-door B-pillar.
