im looking into doing a manual swap on my 85' 318i. i figured if i bought a 325 i could use the rear disc brakes and swap them onto my car. i also figured i could use all the clutch parts from a 325. now i was wondering if i could use the tranny? are they the same size? will the difference in gear ratios make my car alot slower? also, are the driveshafts from an automatic 318i and the driveshaft for a manual 318i the same? many thanks. :D
