every day my car runs fine starts first time everytime. this day however it decided it didn't want to. I started the car like normal but just before it fired itself up i let the ignition go just because i thought it was all systems go, it sputtered like it was going to start then just died. so i try again now it just cranks and will not turn over. so i thought i might have fowled the plugs i checked them, no fuel or oil nothing. so wtf do i try next? i have never had a starting issue with this car

fuel pump
turning over is what the starter does to turn the engine. Cranking is when the engine actually starts running.

Sounds like a fuel related issue. The sputtering indicates that the plugs aremost likely working, but the engine is not getting gas. Check the fuses and relays for the fuel pump and check to see if they are getting power, if the fuses are ok still. You can also try to take off the fuel line going to the fuel rail to see if fuel comes out while cranking. Just be careful with that;). alright i think its the pump. I pulled a plug to see if there was a good spark, my buddy said there wasnt any spark at all, so i bought a msd coil. Great spark won't start.I tried a different relay nothing. Tried starter fluid and got it going. so the fuel pump is gone. It wouldnt be anything else it could it?Getting there
