Loud grinding sound - wheel bearing?

I've already got the bearing. But before I put it on... last verdict. Bad right front bearing? It couldn't be anything else I don't think?

Wheel bearing or tires. As has been stated already.

I'm gonna do the job today or tomorrow. If it fixes it I will finally get to see what this car drives like!!! Thanks for all your help over the past few months lordofthewaters. And thanks to everyone else who has given input on the various forums.

I'll post an update as soon as I've done the bearing. I'm excited!

You can't replace just the bearing I don't think. They only sell the whole unit. I got the hub w/bearing for $130. You can get it from fap99.com made by the oem (SKF?). Dealer is $240.

Well, waddayaknow! That improved the grinding considerably. However, there is still a grinding now only on the left side. No wonder I couldn't tell which side, both sides were bad! lol.

So once I get the other side changed out, I think I may still need engine mounts, and some other rubber things. The car sure is noisy. Now that severe grinding is gone I can really start to hear all the other little sounds.

I bet they made a mistake. The front wheel bearing is not serviceable. The outer race is machined into the hub.
