There will be a lot more vibration and noise. Honesly, the stock units are more than adequate.

If you think the vibration might bother you with urethane, you can upgrade like I did to the E12 mounts. At least I'm almost positive that's what they were from. They were also used on the 6 series. Made for the big six though I know. Pretty sure E12. They're a little stronger and bolt in with no mods.

e12 mounts do bolt in - the only thing that you have to do is grind off the top locating nipple thingy. The e12 mounts have one, the e30 mounts do not.

If you're using them for an M30, you should the mounts for a 635CSi. I think they work on the E30 frame mounts.

I didn't have to grind off the nub thing on my car. They fit into a little hole on the subframe for it.

E12 mounts are the way to go. The deal with the nipple things is that the e12 has 2 and the e30 only has one so you may need to chop the extra one.

                    Nice upgrade though.

BMA does. There's even a discount for r3v members.

Well I didn't know on eurowebparts whether it was $22 each or for both.......but BMA makes it seem like both are for $18 (less discount)

                              Are the e12 one's thicker than the m20 one's ?

I can't fit any thicker ones as the inlet manifold might start touching the hood.

I was thinking about getting the I.E. urethane(sp?) mount's but was worried about the extra noise/vibration.
