    check engine oil

    the overhead check engine oil light just came on after braking hard down a hill could the oil have slushed forward causing the sensor to trip. oil level is 85%

    There is an easy fix to that.

    Run the oil level at 100%

          Run at 100%


          Your (nonexistent) "problem" will go away.

          Just pay attention to the low oil pressure light.
