I've tested my Coolant Temp Sensor and it appears to be bad. It looks like it should be easy to remove, but I can't figure out how. A short 19mm socket isn't deep enough and a deep well socket won't fit since the fuel rail is in the way. What is the best way to replace the CTS? Thanks.

Open end wrench.

Just finished installing a new coolant temp sensor.
I tried an open ended wrench, but it really didn't fit in there well and a deep socket doesn't fit well since it hits the fuel rail. What I ended up doing is just pulling up on the fuel rail to release it from the injectors. This gave me plenty of room to get a socket on, especially with a swivel socket. Too bad this didn't fix my rough idle.
