Okay so about a week ago i had a key break off inside the ignition. Tried everything to get it out, even ended up calling a locksmith, still no go.
So after trying for hours to get the darn thing out, I finally just got tired of messing with it and drilled out the ignition cylinder (now my car is teh ghetto and starts with a flathead).
Anyways, does anyone have a write-up on swapping an ignition cylinder or has anyone been in this situation, what did you do if you have?
I also emailed a nearby dealership to see if I could get an ignition cylinder matched to my car by vin so I wouldnt have to use two separate keys..
